Born in Brockville, Ontario, Noreen was a prolific printmaker and painter who studied at the Ontario College of Art before moving to Montreal. There she taught at the Saidye Bronfman Centre and exhibited her own work in numerous galleries. She later moved to Toronto, where she continued to exhibit and teach into her 90s.
