Canadian artist Klement Olsansky (1909-1963) was born in Brno in former Czcechoslavakia.
Olsanky studied at the National Academy of Painting in Prague and at the Art Institute of Chicago under Wellington Reynolds. He taught at the University of Toronto before moving to Montreal in 1945.
A member of the Royal Canadian Academy of Arts (RCA) Olsansky ‘s works have been exhibited in major galleries including the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts, and are included in many private and corporate collections. His mastery of European impressionism continues to be much sought after.
