Yvon Provost’s extensive career spans decades. A commercial artist, teacher, and foremost a visual artist and painter renowned for his bold colourful impressionist works.

Following his university studies, Yvon studied at the École des Beaux-Arts de Montréal along with Jean Letarte and Tex Lecor. Provost also an accomplished graphic designer worked in advertising for many years.

A lifelong member and advocate for Montreal’s artistic community, Yvon Provost a gifted instructor, founded his own school for visual arts.

Exhibited in many important galleries, Provost’s works are found in many private and corporate institutions and prove to be consistently collectible.

Provost confided, “I love discovering new horizons and going further and further.
I hope to paint until I die. If necessary, let them tie my brush to my fingers. I’m a nature lover…
I’m an impressionist… You have to be daring…”
