Francis Means (1952 ) Francis Méan received his education at the Institut Supérieur des Beaux Arts St Luc in Liège (Belgium). Méan’s work remains recognizable over the years and yet he has regularly changed many aspects of his style. He has said that “Nature speaks, but people are too busy to hear it. Nature remains my main source of inspiration, with attention for the infinitely large and the infinitely small. The colors of the sea, the shape of a mountain as well as the fleeting size of the rainier clouds inspire me.”
