Tejero Chicharro was born in Madrid in 1943. She stood out in painting since childhood. The painter trained in ‘Arts & Crafts´ and the ‘Circulo de Bellas Artes’ with the painters Molina Núñez and Manuel Gumucio. Subsequently, she continued painting with the deceased Molina Núñez. In 1964 she was awarded the prize ‘premio extraordinario’ held at ‘la Fundación Luque’. Tejero Chicharro’s “oil paintings of figurative character and portrait attitude, overcome the technical difficulties through purity and ingenuity when drawing and when employing colour which spring from her child-like characters, feminine figures and ancient sailors”. A.L.S. en Antolin Paz, Mario, 1994 Her works of art are being kept in private collections nationally and internationally. Currently, various works of Tejero Chicharro are kept at ‘Llamas Art Gallery’ in Bilbao.
