Pierre-Paul Aird was born in Montreal, in 1938. He studied with the Frère Jérôme and at the Arts Academy of Canada. In 1965, the artist taught drawing and painting. In 1970, Aird had his first solo exhibition. Since then, he has exhibited every year in Canada or in Europe. Renowned internationally, his paintings are found in many private and public collections.

Aird’s paintings reflect the sensitivity of the artist in the distinctive use of chromatic shades in his palette.
