Francis Méan was born in 1952 in the Belgian town Lüttich and studied at the local Academy of Fine Arts. Exhibiting internationally since 1977. His works are found in collections and galleries throughout Europe and North America. Creating artworks on paper and  canvas Méan is also renown for bronze sculpture and silver jewelry.
