Canadian painter Ross Huggins (1916–1999) is renowned for his evocative landscapes.

Born in Toronto and formally trained at Western Technical School He worked as a commercial illustrator in Toronto and Montreal. He travelled and studied in the UK and Europe.

Later Huggins became Art Director at Young & Rubicam in 1956 and at McKim Advertising in 1959, painting landscapes on weekends and holidays. Once retired, he devoted himself fully to painting, creating vibrant depictions of Quebec locales such as Baie-Saint-Paul and the North Shore, exhibiting at the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts, and earning the Prix Fine Arts Award four years in a row (1966–1969).

His work is much sought after and held in private public and corporate collections across Canada, the US, UK, Europe, and Russia.
