Roland DuBuc,  (1924-1998) born into poverty and forced to work at 14 the young artist moved to Rouen where he befriended members of the art community who advised and encouraged his drawing techniques. 

 DuBuc’s work gained support from galleries after he participated in the “Great and Young Artists Fair” in Paris. By the mid 1970s and now residing in Switzerland DuBuc’s work began to afford him a comfortable living. He returned to Paris in the 1980s, where patron and collector Jean-Paul Villain opened a gallery featuring DuBuc’s work in an important series of exhibitions. His reputation as a fine artist now established, DuBuc is presented to an international clientele eager to invest in his works. Much sought after, DuBuc’s works are included in many important private and public collections.
