Nova Scotian painter and engraver and self described “explorer,” she has progressively distance herself from landscape painting and involves herself in a more conceptual and experimental process. Sorge creates original prints using plants, leaves and weeds as matrix for her printing plates.

Bernice has participated in more than fifty exhibitions including solo and group shows. She has exhibited in both national and international exhibitions, including Paris, Tokyo, and New York City.
